4-Day Pamukkale, Ephesus & Cappadocia Tour

DAY 1 — Flight to Denizli & Private Tour of Pamukkale

You will be transferred from your Istanbul hotel to the airport for an early morning flight to Denizli. Upon arrival, your private guide and driver will be waiting. Spend the day exploring the extraordinary Pamukkale travertine terraces — Turkey’s famous “Cotton Castle,” where calcium-white pools cascade down a hillside like frozen waterfalls. You’ll also visit the adjacent Hierapolis ancient city, a remarkably preserved Greco-Roman archaeological site with a theatre, necropolis, and thermal baths. Optionally, take a swim in the legendary Cleopatra’s Pool, where ancient marble columns lie submerged in warm thermal waters. After the tour, transfer by private car to Kuşadası (approx. 2 hours) and check in at your hotel. Overnight in Kuşadası.

DAY 2 — Private Ephesus Tour & Flight to Cappadocia

After breakfast and checkout, your private guide takes you to the ancient city of Ephesus — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world. Walk the same marble streets once trodden by Cleopatra, Mark Antony, and the Apostle Paul, and marvel at the Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre, and the Temple of Hadrian. You’ll also visit the House of Virgin Mary, a sacred pilgrimage site believed to be where Mary spent her final years, and the ruins of the Temple of Artemis — one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. In the evening, transfer to İzmir Airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival in Kayseri or Nevşehir, your driver will transfer you to your cave hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

DAY 3 — Private Cappadocia Tour (+ Optional Hot Air Balloon)

Start your morning with an optional sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride over Cappadocia’s iconic fairy chimneys — one of the most extraordinary experiences in the world. After the balloon (or breakfast at the hotel), your private tour begins around 10:00 AM. Explore the Göreme Open Air Museum — a UNESCO World Heritage Site of rock-cut Byzantine churches with remarkable frescoes. Visit the iconic Pigeon Valley, the surreal rock formations of Dervent (Imagination) Valley, and the mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys of Paşabağ. Overnight in Cappadocia.

DAY 4 — Private Cappadocia Tour & Flight back to Istanbul

After breakfast and checkout, your final day covers the panoramic Göreme viewpoint, the fascinating Kaymaklı Underground City — descending 8 floors beneath the earth — and the scenic hilltop views from Ortahisar. Continue to the town of Avanos for a stroll along the Kızılırmak River. Optionally, visit an authentic pottery workshop and try your hand at the wheel beside a master craftsman. In the evening, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul. End of tour.
